Media Services

Requesting Audio/Visual/Computing Equipment

Media Services is a division of the Tech Center, located in the Hagen Campus Center, room 206.

Equipment requests create a new support ticket with the Tech Center.

Equipment Reservation

The Tech Center offers several different types of equipment for checkout. This equipment is provided to facilitate Concordia-related activities or coursework, and should not be requested for personal use.

The Tech Center requires reservations to be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Short notice requests will be honored at the Tech Center's discretion, based on availability and other factors.

If you need to change or update a request, simply reply to the email you recieved upon submitting your initial request.

If you are seeking AV support for an event on campus, the Tech Center will not be able to provide service beyond equipment reservation. To inquire about recommended AV vendors, please email Events.

Media Check Out Agreement

1) I understand that the Tech Center does not deliver, set up, or operate audio visual or computer equipment for events, except when providing emergency support for classroom audio visual systems and deploying the mobile laptop carts.

2) If I don't know how to use the equipment that I want to check out, it is my responsibility to make an appointment with the Tech Center at least 24 hours prior to my event for basic training in the use of media services checkout items. To do this, I will email support@cu-portland.edu with my stated request, availability, and preferred mode of contact.

3) I further acknowledge that I have read and understand Concordia's Media Services policy.

Please note that you are responsible for the equipment you check out from the time of pickup to the time of return. Please take care of the equipment, as you will be accountable for loss or damage.
